Article 1 (Purpose and Scope)
This Policy sets out the rules and procedures for payment, withdrawal of subscription, and refunds for the paid products of PromBoard (hereinafter "Service"), operated by Chapter28 (Representative: Taeyoon Kim, hereinafter "Company"). This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. Matters not covered here are governed by the Terms of Service and by the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Korea (the "E-Commerce Act") and other applicable laws.

Article 3 (Billing Currency and Charged Amount)
Product prices are quoted in US dollars (USD).
Any Korean won (₩) figure shown alongside a price is an indicative conversion for reference only and is not the amount charged.
The amount actually charged is determined by the exchange rate and fees applied by the payment processor, card issuer, or app store at the time of payment, and may therefore differ from the displayed figure.
The same applies to refunds: the amount actually credited back may differ from the amount paid because of exchange-rate movement between the two dates. This is outside the Company's control; the Company returns the full amount in the currency of the transaction.
Article 4 (Eligibility for Refund)
A user may request a withdrawal of subscription (refund) where all of the following conditions are met:
The request is made within 7 days of the payment date;
None of the credits granted by that payment have been used (for subscription plans, none of the credits granted for that billing cycle have been used);
The product is not a Day Pass (see Article 5);
The same payment has not already been refunded.
Article 5 (Cases Where Withdrawal Is Restricted)
Under Article 17(2) of the E-Commerce Act, withdrawal of subscription may be restricted once the supply of digital content has begun. Specifically, refunds are restricted in the following cases:
Day Pass: 24-hour access begins immediately upon payment, so the Day Pass is non-refundable. Please confirm this before purchasing.
Credits already used at least once: used credits are treated as digital content (AI-generated output) that has been fully delivered, and are excluded from refund.
More than 7 days have passed since the payment date.
The account has been suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service.
Notwithstanding the above, where the user was unable to use a product properly due to reasons attributable to the Company (service outage, product materially different from its description, duplicate charge, etc.), a refund is available under Article 7.
Article 6 (Calculation of the Refund Amount)
The Company does not currently offer partial or pro-rated refunds; refunds are processed as a full refund of the individual payment.
When a refund is approved, any remaining credits granted by that payment are reclaimed. The balance is never reduced below zero.
When a subscription payment is refunded, the plan granted by that payment is also revoked and the account returns to its previous tier. If a later payment has since changed the plan, that most recent state is preserved.
Article 7 (Refunds for Reasons Attributable to the Company)
In the following cases the Company will review the request regardless of the time limit and usage conditions in Article 4, and will refund the payment or provide credit compensation where the claim is substantiated:
The purchased product could not be used because of a system failure on the Company's side;
The same payment was charged more than once;
The amount charged differs from the amount displayed;
The product delivered differs materially from its description.
Where a generation job fails due to an error on the Company's side, the credits consumed are restored automatically without any refund request.
Article 8 (How to Request a Refund)
Request: Use the refund button on the relevant payment in the [Billing History] screen of the Service. If you cannot access the Service, email ty.kim@chapter28.kr.
Select a reason: Choose a reason such as change of mind, accidental purchase, product not as described, or a billing error.
Review: The Company will verify eligibility and notify you of the outcome within 3 business days of receiving the request.
Settlement: If approved, the Company will request cancellation or reimbursement from the payment provider within 3 business days. Depending on the payment method, it may take a further 3 to 10 business days for the amount to appear on your account or card statement.
If a request is declined, the Company will state the reason, and the user may raise an objection through the procedures in Article 10.
Article 9 (Cancelling a Subscription)
A subscription can be cancelled (auto-renewal turned off) at any time from the [Subscription] screen of the Service.
After cancellation, no charge is made from the next billing date, and the Service remains available until the end of the period already paid for.
Cancelling a subscription does not by itself refund amounts already paid. To obtain a refund, a separate request must be made under Article 4.
Monthly credits granted during the subscription expire when the subscription ends. Remaining credits from separately purchased credit packs do not expire on cancellation.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)
In the event of a dispute concerning a refund, the user and the Company will first seek to resolve it through ty.kim@chapter28.kr. If no agreement is reached, the user may apply for mediation to the following bodies in the Republic of Korea:
Korea Consumer Agency, Consumer Counseling Center (www.kca.go.kr / 1372)
Any litigation relating to this Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court having jurisdiction over the Company's place of business shall be the competent court.
Article 11 (Changes to This Policy)
The Company may amend this Policy in line with changes to applicable law or its service policies. Changes will be announced within the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavourable to users. Payments made before a change remain governed by the Policy in force at the time of payment.
